Group Air Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver travel services for participants of meetings and incentive programs.

• Organize domestic and international travel arrangements including air, rail, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and other requested services.

• Engage in verbal and written communication with clients regarding meeting or incentive travel, policies, and program details.

• Coordinate bookings encompassing air, rail, car service, hotel accommodations, seat assignments, and other necessary arrangements.

• Utilize expertise in international fares, pricing structures, travel resources, and documentation requirements.

• Provide consultation to clients while adhering to organizational standards.

• Assist with travel modifications, split payment forms, special requests, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure quality control of reservations prior to queuing them for ticketing or further quality checks.

• Evaluate information, foresee potential issues, make sound decisions, and escalate matters to leadership when appropriate.

• Review, prioritize, summarize, and respond to correspondence and materials.

• Maintain reservations in a completed status.

• Oversee assigned queues and tasks to verify that reservations and tasks are accurate and complete.

• Complete or delegate team tasks by the conclusion of the shift.

• Address customer service concerns independently or in collaboration with leadership.

• Collect customer payments in accordance with relevant travel and meeting policies and procedures.

• Stay informed by reading daily briefings and industry updates.

• Engage in training programs to enhance and expand travel knowledge and customer service abilities.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of GDS and account-specific products such as TravelQuote, Leap Advisor, Group Track, Online Booking Tools, Quality, and Banx.

• Achieve productivity targets established by leadership.

• Foster strong interdepartmental communication, a positive team atmosphere, and exemplary customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of corporate travel experience is required.

• Experience in university travel is advantageous.

• Proficiency with the Sabre GDS is essential.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Basic mathematical skills are necessary.

• Ability to read and interpret various forms of information and documents.

• Consistent and reliable attendance is expected.

• Proficient usage of GDS is required.

• Knowledge of geography is beneficial.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities are crucial.

• Capability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.

• Competence in handling problems involving multiple concrete variables in standard situations.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels.

• High accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of business information.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks and multitasking is important.

• Professionalism in written and verbal communication is required.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Capacity to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous requests.
