This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Autonomous preparation and ongoing enhancement of the monthly group consolidation in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), along with assistance on IFRS-related topics.

• Evaluation and quality control of reporting packages from our global subsidiaries.

• Maintain high data integrity, incorporating plausibility checks and root-cause analyses of discrepancies.

• Independently resolve intricate accounting and consolidation issues in collaboration with local finance teams and external consultants.

• Execute and document consolidation entries, including intercompany transactions, capital consolidation, and currency translation.

• Assist in annual and group audit procedures and serve as a liaison for auditors.

• Incorporate new entities into the group financial statement and reporting framework.

• Enhance our accounting and closing procedures, as well as the LucaNet environment.

• Develop work instructions and documentation to standardize our operations.

• Engage in group-wide finance initiatives (M&A integration, process harmonization, reporting standards).

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience (minimum 4–5 years) in group accounting or auditing with a concentration on consolidated financial statements.

• In-depth knowledge of group accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB); familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

• Extensive experience with consolidation software, preferably LucaNet.

• Proficient in managing complex accounting and consolidation issues.

• Exceptional Excel capabilities and a strong affinity for IT.

• Organized, self-sufficient, and solution-focused work approach.

• Strong analytical abilities and a keen interest in understanding root causes instead of merely addressing symptoms.

• Initiative and a readiness to assume responsibility and actively improve processes.

• Proficient in both German and English language skills.
