This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee enterprise/global multi-service client portfolios and represent DEPT® to senior-level clients.
• Deliver strategic account management, integrated planning, client relations, and commercial leadership.
• Enhance operational efficiency across various portfolios and disciplines.
• Create integrated solutions that encompass media, creative, experience, data, and technology.
• Formulate future-state client strategies accompanied by KPIs.
• Cultivate future leaders and elevate the integrated marketing proficiency across teams.
• Contribute to the agency's perspectives and thought-leadership initiatives.
• Integrate global capabilities through the One DEPT® framework.
• Manage senior client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Serve as the escalation point, addressing and resolving internal or client-related issues.
• Establish relationships through face-to-face meetings, conferences, and events.
• Identify talent and promote high-performing team dynamics.
• Seek out cross-sell and upsell opportunities alongside organic revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Media, Creative, Experience, and Engineering teams.
• Develop QBR outlines and take ownership of presentation narratives.
• Handle portfolio revenue, forecasting, profitability, financial systems, scopes, budgets, and commercial models.
• Negotiate adjustments to SOW, expansions, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Mentor, lead, manage, motivate, and inspire teams.
• Ensure delivery quality, scope management, staffing, account oversight, and profitability.
• Lead new-business pitches and proposals in collaboration with the Growth team.
• Create strategic narratives, pricing structures, and team configurations.
• Write case studies and support Growth initiatives.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in client service roles within an agency setting.
• Responsible for a $5-7M+ client portfolio, managing it like an independent business unit.
• Consistently achieves and surpasses multi-account growth objectives.
• Proven experience in leading pitches and fostering organic account growth.
• Experience managing large integrated clients, AORs, and agency teams.
• Possesses executive presence, strategic thought leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to anticipate client needs.
• Proven track record in leading high-volume, multi-service client engagements.
• Experience in motivating team members and promoting a proactive, collaborative, and energized team culture.
• Ability to convey complex messages to diverse audiences.
• Capable of aligning projects with the company's strategy, values, and goals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Can link projects to business effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
