Grid Services Engineer – O&M

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance aspects of electrical switchgear and facilities up to and including 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and provide fault resolution.

• Assist in the execution of projects.

• Monitor planned and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate technical requirements for ongoing initiatives.

• Travel frequently to various operational sites across the UK and occasionally internationally.

• Work remotely from home or from a Statkraft UK office when site visits are not required.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant experience within the energy industry.

• Proven experience working on the electrical network, preferably with LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Solid understanding of O&M work processes.

• High awareness of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

• Knowledgeable in power generation HV networks, electrical testing/analysis, commissioning, and MS Office applications.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally abroad.

• Valid permit to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Eligibility for security clearance and authorization.
