Grid Services Engineer – O&M

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance of electrical switchgear and facilities up to 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and execute fault response actions.

• Assist in the execution of projects.

• Monitor the progress of scheduled and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate technical needs for ongoing projects.

• Undertake significant travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.

• Complete SAP training and work towards authorization for operations up to 400kV.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant experience within the energy sector.

• Proven experience working on the electrical network, particularly in LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Solid understanding of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) processes.

• High level of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) awareness.

• Familiarity with power generation high voltage networks.

• Knowledge of electrical testing and analysis.

• Understanding of commissioning processes.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Valid permit to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.

• Previous SAP Authorization is a plus.
