Grid Services Engineer – O&M

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance activities of electrical switchgear and plant systems up to 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and deliver fault response services.

• Assist in the execution of various projects.

• Monitor and follow up on planned and corrective maintenance assignments.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate the technical needs for ongoing projects.

• Travel frequently to different operational locations throughout the UK.

• Work remotely from home or from Statkraft's UK office locations when on-site presence is not necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant experience in the energy sector.

• Proven experience in working with the electrical network, particularly in LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Prior SAP Authorisation is a plus.

• Strong understanding of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) processes.

• High level of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) awareness.

• Familiarity with power generation high voltage (HV) networks.

• Knowledge of electrical testing and analysis methods.

• Understanding of commissioning processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Valid permit to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Eligible for security clearance and authorization.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally abroad.
