Grid Services Engineer – O&M

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance aspects of electricity switchgear and facilities up to and including 400kV.

• Participate in training and development aimed at obtaining authorization up to 400kV.

• Complete SAP training and development.

• Investigate system alarms and provide responses to faults.

• Assist in the delivery of projects.

• Monitor the execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Supervise engineering activities on-site.

• Evaluate technical requirements for ongoing projects.

• Travel frequently to various operational locations across the UK and occasionally abroad.

• Work remotely from home or from one of Statkraft’s UK office locations when site presence is not necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience in the energy sector.

• Proven experience in working on the electrical network, preferably dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Previous SAP Authorization is a plus.

• Strong understanding of O&M work processes.

• High standard of HSE awareness.

• Knowledgeable in power generation HV networks, electrical testing/analysis, commissioning, and MS Office applications.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally abroad.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.
