Grid Services Engineer – O&M

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance of electrical switchgear and plant up to and including 400kV.

• Undergo training and development to become authorized for work up to 400kV.

• Participate in SAP training and development programs.

• Investigate system alarms and respond to faults effectively.

• Assist in the delivery of various projects.

• Monitor the execution of planned and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate technical requirements for ongoing projects.

• Travel frequently within the UK and occasionally abroad.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience in the energy sector.

• Proven experience working with the electrical network, particularly in LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Strong understanding of O&M work processes.

• High level of HSE awareness.

• Knowledgeable about power generation HV networks, electrical testing/analysis, commissioning, and proficient in MS Office applications.

• Candidates must possess the right to work in the UK.

• Valid clean driving license.

• Applicants must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.
