GRC Lead Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish the architecture and standards for cloud Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).

• Develop and oversee policies utilizing Wiz Policy and GCP Organization Policy.

• Align SOC 2 and other compliance frameworks with technical controls.

• Conduct standardized architecture and security assessments.

• Streamline the collection of compliance evidence and maintain audit-ready documentation.

• Collaborate with security, cloud, engineering, and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Ensure that cloud scalability meets governance, security, and regulatory standards.

• Offer well-founded security and compliance advice to auditors, regulators, and senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in GRC / Cloud Governance / Security Architecture.

• Practical experience with GCP and GCP Organization Policies.

• Familiarity with Wiz or comparable cloud security platforms.

• In-depth understanding of SOC 2, risk management, and security controls.

• Proven experience in cloud architecture evaluations and compliance automation.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
