This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and produce promotional materials, fact sheets, newsletters, and other visual communication products related to healthcare, supporting initiatives for testosterone screening and treatment expansion.

• Design visual layouts and graphics for presentations, reports, and dashboards intended for executive-level audiences.

• Ensure that design outputs adhere to the VA Style Guide and comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.

• Work collaboratively with program and communications teams to convert program content and data into clear, visually appealing materials.

• Assist in the design and formatting of policies, directives, standard operating procedures, templates, and work standards.

• Aid in the development of graphics and visual content for VA SharePoint sites, TEAMS channels, and VA Intranet/Internet websites.

• Revise and enhance design deliverables based on feedback from clients and stakeholders, adhering to established timelines.

• Maintain organized, version-controlled design files and assets for program utilization.

• Provide support to the Veterans Health Administration’s Testosterone Screening and Treatment Expansion Program.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in graphic design or creative production, ideally within federal or healthcare sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related discipline.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar design software.

• Experience in designing materials that meet Section 508 accessibility standards.

• A strong portfolio showcasing design work for healthcare, government, or similarly regulated entities is preferred.

• A strategic mindset with a forward-thinking approach to marketing trends and technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Background in supporting intricate projects and transformation initiatives within the federal government.

• Comfortable with managing complex client relationships.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and time management capabilities.

• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and collaborate effectively with others.

• Capability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and solutions clearly, both in writing and verbally.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure and in fast-paced settings.

• Willingness to accept feedback from clients and implement changes promptly and efficiently.

• Quick adaptability to complex issues.

• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
