Grants Payments Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Gather and assess actuals and forecasts for site and patient enrollment in collaboration with the Central Planning and Clinical Operations teams.

• Create, sustain, and continually enhance forecasting models utilized beyond Medidata Payments.

• Merge forecasting data and processes with Medidata Payments forecasts.

• Collaborate with Revenue Recognition teams to ensure forecasting aligns with audit and financial reporting standards.

• Produce precise, client-ready forecast deliverables in accordance with sponsor contractual obligations.

• Evaluate forecast performance by analyzing plan-versus-actual results and budget variances.

• Notify Project Analysts and Global Project Leads about risks of over-forecasting and under-forecasting.

• Assist with audit activities, change order processes, and study closeout reconciliations.

• Compile final forecasting and reconciliation reports for client delivery and project assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 2–5 years of experience in finance.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret financial and operational information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and accounting systems.

• Familiarity with clinical site payment processes.

• Understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.

• Capability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and work collaboratively across various functions.

• Experience in supporting financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, or reconciliation tasks.

• Proficiency in English.
