This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist the Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer along with the Director of Program Development.
• Oversee the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of both new and ongoing grant-funded programs and projects.
• Organize and disseminate grant program information to various teams and individuals.
• Ensure that grant-funded programs and services adhere to funder requirements and regulations.
• Coordinate the execution of grant agreements and contracts with the Contracting office.
• Work with the Finance Office to set up accounting processes and allocate expenses.
• Collaborate with department leadership and Human Resources to support the hiring of grant-funded staff.
• Partner with Data Analytics to assist in developing data collection and reporting systems.
• Interpret and convert funder requirements into operational workflows within the health center.
• Manage a calendar for performance and financial reporting deadlines.
• Adapt to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Suggest long-term funding improvements based on program successes, outcomes, and service gaps.
• Schedule and facilitate multidisciplinary meetings related to grant implementation and monitoring.
• Analyze issues and develop action plans that align with health center capacity and funder expectations.
• Assist with grant application and proposal development as necessary.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of grant management experience in a non-profit organization is required.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in coordinating teams and leading group projects or initiatives.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills and a command of proper grammar.
• Proven ability to work with various reporting structures and formats.
• Understanding of grant development and administration processes.
• Familiarity with grant reporting and accounting procedures.
• Ability to comprehend and apply quasi-legal funding and reporting instructions and guidelines.
• Capability to work on a computer for extended periods.
• I-9 and completion of application requirements are necessary.
• Compliance with mandated vaccinations and boosters is required.
• Availability of remote work.
