Demand Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Compose thorough and persuasive personal injury demand letters and comprehensive demand packages.

• Evaluate police reports, medical records, invoices, treatment histories, photographs, and other relevant case documentation.

• Summarize details of accidents and collisions, including liability issues and relevant citations when applicable.

• Create chronological summaries of medical treatments, injuries, diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing complaints.

• Identify critical medical information, such as diagnostic imaging results, injections, surgical recommendations, procedures, and future treatment suggestions.

• Ensure that medical providers, dates of service, diagnoses, procedures, and other case details are accurately represented.

• Organize information from various sources into clear and compelling written narratives.

• Review demands for grammar, spelling, formatting, consistency, and factual correctness.

• Adhere to established templates, procedures, and quality standards.

• Handle multiple files and deadlines while ensuring accuracy.

• Communicate with team members regarding incomplete or inconsistent records, invoices, or other information.

• Uphold client confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining responsive to the team.

• Competence in following detailed instructions, templates, and established processes.

• Comfort with multiple software platforms and electronic documents.

• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology, diagnoses, procedures, and common personal injury terms.

• Professional judgment in handling confidential client and medical information.

• Access to reliable, high-speed internet.

• A quiet and professional workspace with minimal distractions.

• Dependable computer equipment and proficiency in working efficiently with electronic files and web-based applications.

• Consistent availability during the chosen work schedule.

• Previous experience in personal injury, legal writing, medical records, insurance claims, or demand preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
