This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Define the product roadmap during global sprints held every six months.
• Emphasize design and user experience, particularly in developer tools and command line applications.
• Produce high-quality, resilient, and efficient code that may cater to millions of users daily.
• Attain expertise in essential programming languages and gain knowledge of Linux systems.
• Interact with users and the open source community through code reviews and issue tracking.
• Prioritize responding to customer concerns and develop an understanding of enterprise needs.
• Enhance skills and knowledge regarding security in software design and implementation.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams and take part in biannual in-person team sprints.
• Seeking 2025 and 2026 Graduate Software Engineers.
• Outstanding academic performance from both high school and university.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or another STEM field with programming coursework.
• Assurance in initiating and delivering high-quality code in Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, or Java.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu or any other Linux distribution.
• Proven history of exceeding expectations to achieve remarkable outcomes.
• Results-oriented and organized, with a strong commitment to fulfilling obligations.
• Engagement in personal technology and software engineering projects beyond academic requirements.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, curiosity, adaptability, and accountability.
• Sense of personal responsibility and accountability.
• Thoughtfulness, self-awareness, and the ability to reflect and grow.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
• Nice-to-have: Contributions to upstream open source projects.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with packaging and contributions to Linux distributions such as Debian, Fedora, Arch, Nix, or others.
