This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement and assess data analysis and modeling initiatives, encompassing data design and processing.
• Evaluate new statistical analysis techniques, software, and data sources to enhance quantitative solutions.
• Innovate methods for scientists to leverage data from various sources.
• Create automated processes to interpret unstructured data and transform it into structured formats suitable for analysis and modeling.
• Gain practical skills and foundational experience for a career in data science.
• Must be willing to commit to a full-time work schedule.
• Expected to maintain enrollment in an accredited college or university after the internship program or co-op.
• The student must reside in the United States throughout the internship program.
• Must be prepared to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if extended an offer.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program at an accredited institution.
• Completion of the first year of the applicable MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program prior to the start of the internship.
• Preferred: completion of the first year of a Master’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: one or more years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health care sectors.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong skills in project management, analytics, and quantitative analysis.
• Proficient in at least one programming language: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
• Coursework in relevant subjects such as business systems analysis, Lean methodologies, Agile/SCRUM, software development, database modeling, web design and development, IT management, cloud application management, B2B collaboration, ERP, or CRM systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the entirety of the program.
