This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the product owner/Product Architect and functional teams to gain insight into data requirements.
• Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources and formats into the Enterprise Data Lake.
• Work together with lead Architects, Business SMEs, and Data Scientists on comprehensive data pipelines and supporting infrastructure.
• Create infrastructure and analytical tools utilizing Python, SQL, and AWS.
• Identify and execute opportunities for task automation.
• Develop reusable frameworks for efficiency.
• Design, construct, and create rapid proof-of-concept solutions and services.
• Gain practical skills and foundational professional experience throughout the internship.
• Must be available for a full-time work schedule.
• Expected to maintain enrollment in an accredited college or university after the internship program/co-op.
• The student must reside in the United States for the entire duration of the internship program.
• Must be available to accept and commit to potential full-time employment by July 2028, if offered.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program at an accredited college or university, having completed the first year before the internship commences.
• Preferred: completion of the first year of a Master’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Preferred: 1 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong skills in project management, analytical thinking, and quantitative analysis.
• Proficient in at least one programming language: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
• Coursework preferred in business systems analysis, Lean, Agile (SCRUM), SDLC processes, software development, database modeling, web design and development, IT management, cloud-based application management, B2B collaboration, or enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the entire duration of the program.
