📋 Description

• Provide leadership in regulatory and accreditation matters to the BSI Artificial Intelligence certification body, notified body, and quality management teams on a global scale.

• Oversee AI notified body and AI certification body schemes in accordance with ISO 17021, ISO 17065, ISO 17025, and relevant accreditation and legislative requirements.

• Spearhead the development and upkeep of Conformity Assessment Activities for both providers and manufacturers.

• Ensure that technology and processes comply with EU AI Regulations, applicable standards, and international regulatory requirements.

• Guarantee that BSI policies, procedures, and documentation align with current AI regulatory obligations.

• Ensure that NB, AI Services, and AIMS personnel operate at the necessary level of expertise and diligence.

• Offer policy guidance, input, and expertise regarding AI technical and management systems assessments.

• Develop associated certification schemes.

• Represent BSI at AI events, forums, stakeholder engagements, and working groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a field pertinent to Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, or an equivalent discipline.

• A minimum of four years of post-graduate experience in conformity assessment, quality management, software development, quality policy/regulation, or standardization development, including at least one year focused on AI.

• Familiarity with AI Lifecycle and Quality aspects, as well as Regulatory considerations for AI products.

• Strong interpersonal skills, especially in communication and influence.
