This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Comprehend, modify, and enhance NVIDIA's proprietary GPU compiler backend developed in C++.
• Design and create compiler passes and optimizations.
• Deliver robust, maintainable, and top-tier compiler and tools.
• Collaborate with global teams in compilers, hardware, and applications to drive improvements and resolve issues.
• Contribute to deep-learning compiler technology, covering architecture design and support through functional languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in compiler code generation.
• Exceptional hands-on skills in C++ programming.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, focusing on creating robust and maintainable solutions.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.
• Self-driven and motivated.
• Master’s or PhD degree with considerable compiler-related project or thesis work is preferred.
• Experience with LLVM code generation, including instruction scheduling, software pipelining, register allocation, GlobalISel, TableGen, LLVM IR, and Machine IR (MIR).
• Background in developing applications using CUDA, DirectX, OpenGL/Vulkan.
