This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the post-award kickoff process, including scheduling, work planning, risk monitoring, and status reporting.

• Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), vendors, and stakeholders from municipal, state, federal, and educational sectors.

• Facilitate the review of deliverables, maintain decision logs, manage dependencies, and escalate issues as needed.

• Ensure that written products align with contract specifications and uphold quality standards.

• Oversee invoicing contributions and manage contract closeout procedures.

• Provide support for occasional client travel for meetings or project requirements.

• Take ownership of project delivery from kickoff through to closeout for government classification, compensation, workforce, and related consulting contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in project management on government or public-sector contracts (municipal, state, federal, or education).

• Excellent communication skills with clients, adept in schedule management, risk management, and coordination with SMEs/vendors.

• Proven track record in conducting post-award kickoffs, developing work plans, leading status meetings, coordinating deliverable reviews, managing invoicing, and facilitating closeout activities.

• Comfortable with remote-first work arrangements and willing to travel occasionally.

• Knowledge of public-sector contracting practices; familiarity with SAM and UEI is a plus.

• Possession of a PMP or an equivalent project leadership certification is advantageous.

• Experience in classification/compensation or workforce consulting delivery is not mandatory but is valued.
