This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Promote the complete range of ADC Products to government accounts within the regional market.
• Establish new business relationships with healthcare providers in designated regional accounts, including local and regional market access.
• Increase sales within the existing customer base.
• Identify customer requirements and formulate account-specific strategies.
• Foster customer commitment to change and oversee the implementation of conversion, training, and startup processes post-sale.
• Target key government facilities through cross-divisional initiatives, enhancing access and market share while surpassing quarterly sales targets.
• Oversee territory management and ensure effective implementations and training.
• Expand into Primary Care Account Management and Customer Care sectors.
• Manage the allocated budget to maximize return on investment.
• Execute and uphold the quality system’s effectiveness.
• Evaluate the business implications of contracting opportunities on profitability, sales, and margins.
• Develop business for regional government accounts.
• Engage in weekly travel and appointments with target facilities, healthcare providers, and pharmacy administration.
• Conduct strategic planning for the territory and participate in semi-annual business reviews.
• Prepare precise forecasts and customer business plans.
• Propel sales and distribution of new products.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Science Liaisons, Network Field Specialists, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Contract Marketing, and Account Sales & Service teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Health Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• 3.0 to 5.0 years of demonstrated successful sales experience at Abbott Laboratories or a comparable organization.
• Typically, over 4 years of successful sales experience for candidates from outside Abbott Laboratories.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior sales experience with VA, DoD, or Indian Health systems.
• Military background or family members with military service.
• Experience in Managed Care.
• Strong analytical skills, negotiation capabilities, and familiarity with contracts/legal matters.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation and listening abilities.
