This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +2 more states.
• Act as McKesson's trusted advisor to Veterans Affairs and other government healthcare clients in the Pacific Northwest Territory.
• Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and enhance customer relationships.
• Address operational challenges and provide measurable value through pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain expertise, and strategic account management.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and leadership personnel.
• Conduct proactive business reviews and customer meetings utilizing data, trends, service insights, and customer priorities.
• Facilitate cross-functional issue resolution and manage customer escalations involving Operations, Customer Service, Compliance, National Accounts, and other internal teams.
• Discover opportunities to enhance customer outcomes through pharmaceutical distribution services, inventory optimization, reporting and technology solutions, compliance support, operational efficiencies, and industry best practices.
• Represent McKesson in intricate government environments while balancing customer expectations, contract obligations, patient care impact, and business priorities.
• Maintain CRM documentation, territory planning, account strategy formulation, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, customer engagement standards, business reviews, documentation guidelines, and service commitments.
• Degree or equivalent plus typically requires over 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred 4+ years of Account Management within the healthcare sector.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication abilities.
• Capability to build credibility and influence among customer stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to convert operational, financial, and service data into customer-facing presentations and recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.
• Familiarity with Copilot or similar AI tools.
• Knowledge of the healthcare sector.
• Proven success in resolving complex problems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and healthcare supply chain operations.
• Experience interpreting and leveraging data from CRM, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to analyze customer trends and formulate actionable account strategies.
• Skilled in managing customer priorities within highly regulated and complex healthcare settings.
• Candidate must reside within the designated territory and in reasonable proximity to a major airport.
• Must live within the territory, specifically Anchorage, AK, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR (Alaska, Washington, Oregon).
• Travel required throughout the assigned territory.
• Home office with significant territory travel, up to 75%.
• Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel according to customer requirements.
