GovCon Technology Manager, Deltek Costpoint Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of all phases of projects and collaborate directly with clients to achieve project goals.

• Exhibit extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a project/program management office that supports technical project managers.

• Utilize technical and functional expertise to assess and implement packaged software solutions.

• Create and implement methodologies and solutions tailored to the government contracting sector.

• Aid in the identification of new business prospects through the development of methodologies and tools, participation in proposals, market research, and various internal initiatives.

• Provide outstanding client service in all interactions and projects.

• Communicate effectively both internally and with clients, including stakeholders at the executive level.

• Oversee daily project operations, ensure appropriate leverage on project teams, and assign/manage tasks and responsibilities.

• Guide, mentor, and offer performance feedback to consultants, clients, and project team members.

• Contribute to the overall management of the Consulting Practice and develop/implement a personal professional and practice development strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field.

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in providing financial and management consulting services.

• Background in consulting with commercial clients or a mix of commercial and federal clients.

• Experience with Deltek/Costpoint implementation projects supporting commercial clients or a blend of commercial and federal clients.

• Proven management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, show a commitment to continuous learning, demonstrate appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and maintain a sense of urgency and dedication to quality and timely project completion.

• Must be willing to travel up to 50% for client engagements.

• CPA, PMP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
