Google Workspace Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical migration and operational transformation from legacy Microsoft environments, such as SharePoint and Power Platform, to Google Workspace, Google Sheets, AppSheet, and Looker Studio.

• Redesign legacy SharePoint sites and document libraries into their Google Workspace counterparts, including AppSheet, Google Sites, Shared Drives, and Apps Script.

• Convert and reconstruct Power Automate multi-stage approvals, automated triggers, and integrations utilizing Google Apps Script, AppSheet automations, and Workspace webhooks.

• Transition Microsoft Power Apps to Google AppSheet applications with role-based access control and relational data structures.

• Migrate and enhance Excel/Access models and SharePoint Lists into Google Sheets and BigQuery backends using advanced formulas, Apps Script triggers, and Connected Sheets.

• Duplicate and modernize Power BI reports and dashboards within Google Looker Studio, linking to Sheets, BigQuery, and third-party APIs.

• Develop and apply detailed access controls and permissions across Google Shared Drives, Sites, and Apps.

• Produce technical documentation and user-enablement materials to facilitate organizational change management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 3+ years of pertinent experience.

• Must possess eligibility for a public trust clearance.

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

• Must have resided in the US for the last 3 consecutive years.

• Extensive hands-on experience in administration, configuration, and solution development within the Google Workspace Enterprise ecosystem.

• Advanced development skills in Google Apps Script (JavaScript), HTML/CSS for Workspace extensions, and RESTful API integrations with Google Workspace APIs.

• Proven experience in building enterprise-grade AppSheet solutions from intricate relational datasets with custom user experience views, workflow triggers, and security filters.

• Established expertise in Google Sheets data modeling, performance optimization for large datasets, and enterprise dashboard creation in Google Looker Studio.

• Direct technical experience in analyzing, auditing, and deconstructing Microsoft SharePoint architectures, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps logic.

• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace security architecture, including Shared Drive permission hierarchies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and OAuth app controls.

• Preferred: Google Cloud Certified Professional Google Workspace Administrator or Professional Cloud Developer.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and Cloud IAM.

• Preferred: Previous experience executing a comprehensive organizational migration from Microsoft 365 / Power Platform to Google Workspace.
