📋 Description

• Implement Clear to Launch transportation procedures and standard practices to ensure timely outbound shipments.

• Provide essential operational support from Friday to Monday.

• Accept and prioritize handoffs while creating structured execution strategies.

• Oversee high-volume outbound transportation operations, including escalations and exceptions.

• Recognize delivery risks and collaborate with internal teams and transportation providers to resolve issues.

• Assist with both U.S. domestic and international outbound transportation activities.

• Serve as a transportation escalation contact to uphold customer commitments and ensure shipment performance.

• Develop solutions for urgent, expedited, or non-standard shipping needs.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customs considerations for international outbound shipments.

• Coordinate with global MRO facilities, fulfillment teams, and distribution centers.

• Collaborate with the Clear to Build team regarding inbound and outbound priorities, handoffs, and escalations.

• Utilize supplier performance metrics, operational data, and transportation visibility tools to identify performance gaps and enhance efficiency.

• Recognize recurring execution challenges and process deficiencies to foster continuous improvement.

• Leverage AI, analytics, digital tools, and automation to enhance transportation visibility, data integrity, decision-making, and cost efficiency.

• Support transportation supplier root cause analysis and corrective measures.

• Advocate for compliance with regulations, company policies, procedures, and EHS standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow.

• Direct responsibility for transportation planning and operational execution for both international and domestic shipment flows.

• Experience managing transportation suppliers within complex regional networks.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Capability to prioritize efficiently, manage multiple issues simultaneously, and make informed decisions in high-pressure settings.

• Proficient in absorbing handoffs, interpreting operational needs, and structuring tasks for effective daily execution.

• Strong analytical skills and process development expertise.

• Experience utilizing data, metrics, and digital tools to manage performance and identify gaps.

• Working knowledge of customs processes and documentation relevant to international transportation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools that support logistics operations.

• Ability to excel in a high-intensity, high-volume, quick-response environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify themes, escalate risks, and facilitate corrective actions.

• Excellent organizational skills and discipline in managing competing priorities.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, as required.

• May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
