📋 Description

• Implement transportation processes and standard operating procedures for Clear to Build, ensuring effective transport, tracking, expediting, and delivery of parts to support engine assembly needs.

• Receive, analyze, and prioritize overnight handoffs, translating them into a daily operational execution plan.

• Oversee high-volume transportation activities and manage escalations effectively.

• Recognize inbound delivery risks for both international and U.S. domestic shipments and drive solutions.

• Act as a transportation escalation point for issues related to material availability, build readiness, and supply chain flow.

• Create logistics solutions for urgent or non-standard transportation demands.

• Maintain expertise in customs regulations and collaborate with customs and transportation teams to ensure compliant movement.

• Coordinate efforts with transportation providers, sourcing and fulfillment teams, and receiving facilities.

• Collaborate with the Clear to Launch team on inbound/outbound priorities, handoffs, escalations, and overall execution.

• Leverage supplier performance metrics, operational data, and transportation visibility tools to pinpoint gaps and facilitate improvements.

• Support process enhancements while ensuring daily execution and service continuity remain intact.

• Utilize AI, analytics, digital tools, and automation to enhance decision-making, visibility, process discipline, data quality, and cost efficiency.

• Foster transportation quality and supplier performance improvements through the identification of recurring issues, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions.

• Advocate for compliance with regulations, company policies, procedures, and EHS standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or material flow.

• Hands-on experience in transportation planning and operational execution for both international and domestic shipment flows.

• Proven experience in managing transportation suppliers across complex regional networks.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capable of prioritizing effectively, managing multiple issues simultaneously, and making sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Strong analytical skills and process development capabilities.

• Proficiency in using data, metrics, and digital tools to manage performance and identify gaps.

• Working knowledge of customs processes and documentation pertinent to international transportation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools essential for logistics operations.

• Ability to excel in a high-intensity, high-volume, rapid-response environment.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify themes, escalate risks, and support corrective actions.

• Outstanding organizational skills and discipline in managing competing priorities.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, where applicable.

• Willingness to undergo random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
