This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Implement strategies and policy requirements for efficient Global Trade management within the Military Engines F135 program.
• Act as the project manager overseeing vendor repairs, site activations, induction, FAA, and follow-on sustainment activities for F-35/F135 customers and repair service providers.
• Align business objectives, tools, systems, and processes with RTX-PW Global Trade requirements in a compliant manner.
• Assist the F135 program in all facets of import-export trade compliance while collaborating cross-functionally with various business units.
• Support program Global Trade Focals in managing Classification, Screening/Diligence, Authorizations, and Transfers.
• Provide training and guidance on Global Trade subjects, including training and risk assessments.
• Oversee an export authorization portfolio to ensure compliance and support strategic and transactional goals.
• Stay informed about Global Trade policies and procedures and relay Global Trade touchpoints to business colleagues.
• Assist with audits, investigations, incident management, gap identification, remediation, metrics enhancement, investigations, and disclosures.
• Recognize training requirements and create and deliver Global Trade compliance training programs.
• Track changes to U.S. government regulations, sanctions, and P&W policies, and communicate updates to programs and procedures.
• Contribute to periodic export-control reporting, including control-tower metrics.
• Benchmark across F135 Global Trade focal programs and related business and Global Trade organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years experience related to compliance with U.S. export regulations, including EAR and ITAR.
• Experience guiding business teams through hardware and technology export processes.
• Familiarity with export authorization requirements and transfer tools such as JEN / EDEX or SAP / GTS.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Strongly preferred: general knowledge or experience with EAR or ITAR, including TAAs, MLAs, license exemptions, or exceptions.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and apply them to business processes, procedures, and transactions.
• Strongly preferred but not required: experience with jurisdiction and classification of CCL and USML (JCL2/JCL3).
• Proximity or accessibility to East Hartford or Middletown, Connecticut office locations is preferred.
• Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
