This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Implement strategies and policy requirements for the efficient management of Global Trade within the Military Engines F135 program.

• Act as the project manager for vendor repairs, site activations, induction, FAA, and ongoing sustainment activities for F-35/F135 customers and repair service providers.

• Work autonomously while receiving support from GTPS and GTRM to align business objectives, tools, systems, and processes with RTX-PW Global Trade requirements.

• Provide assistance to the F135 program regarding all facets of import/export trade compliance.

• Collaborate across various business units.

• Support program GT Focals in overseeing Global Trade pillars: Classification, Screening/Diligence, Authorizations, and Transfers.

• Deliver training and guidance on Global Trade topics, including training sessions and risk assessments.

• Manage an export authorization portfolio to ensure compliance while supporting strategic and transactional objectives.

• Stay informed about Global Trade policies and procedures, communicating relevant Global Trade touchpoints to colleagues in the business.

• Assist in audits, investigations, incident management, gap identification, remediation, metrics enhancement, investigations, and disclosures.

• Identify training needs and create as well as deliver Global Trade compliance training sessions.

• Keep track of changes to U.S. government regulations, sanctions, and P&W policies, conveying updates to programs and procedures.

• Contribute to periodic export-control reporting, including control tower metrics.

• Benchmark against F135 Global Trade focal programs and associated GT organizations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a role that involves compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

• Proven experience in guiding business teams through hardware and technology export processes.

• Familiarity with export authorization requirements and transfer tools such as JEN/EDEX or SAP/GTS.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Strong analytical, project management, interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.

• A collaborative team player with multitasking capabilities and a client-focused approach.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Professional maturity to work with minimal daily supervision while managing multiple priorities.

• General knowledge or experience with EAR or ITAR, including TAAs, MLAs, and license exemptions or exceptions.

• Capability to read and interpret regulations and apply them to business processes, procedures, and transactions.

• Experience with jurisdiction and classification of CCL and USML, including JCL2/JCL3, is highly encouraged but not required.

• Proximity or accessibility to East Hartford or Middletown, Connecticut office locations.

• Ability to obtain security clearance.
