This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to enhance Censys’s internet intelligence presence among target clients.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Comprehend customer business needs and convert Censys’s internet-scan data into comprehensive designs.
• Promote the adoption of the Censys Platform within customer security processes.
• Conduct thorough assessments of prospects’ and customers’ technical, operational, and commercial needs.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of Censys data and platform.
• Facilitate demos, presentations, webinars, and workshops for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Represent Censys at conferences and events through presentations.
• Lead technical validation initiatives to showcase Censys’s unique visibility and secure technical successes.
• Coordinate Specialists, Channel resources, and Customer Support throughout various opportunities.
• Advocate for comprehensive solutions that include Censys and partner professional services.
• Differentiate Censys’s internet-scale data advantage in comparison to competitors.
• Identify technical stakeholders and drive roadmaps for security and attack-surface management.
• Utilize AI responsibly to enhance efficiency and impact.
• Report directly to the VP of Technical Services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.
• Proficient in at least one area of Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.
• Previous experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives is preferred.
• Proven track record of influencing and securing buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Ideal candidates will have experience in a pre-sales role.
• Background in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation activities.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Familiarity with collaborating with Customer Support teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Preferred experience in complex sales that involve lengthy sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.
• Capability to support in-person customer meetings through necessary field travel.
