
Global Senior Sourcing Manager – HVAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the development and execution of category-level global sourcing strategies for HVAC.
• Identify and broaden a global supply base to meet Ferguson's product development and business expansion requirements.
• Oversee supplier exploration, qualification, onboarding, diversification, contract negotiations, and execution.
• Enhance total product landing cost and lead initiatives focused on cost savings and optimization.
• Execute global product development and sourcing projects while ensuring the successful delivery of the product development pipeline.
• Assist in Business Unit integration initiatives and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with both new and existing suppliers.
• Optimize global sourcing and operational processes for the business.
• Lead evaluations of supplier scorecards and conduct supplier business reviews.
• Oversee supplier performance and facilitate the resolution of issues.
• Ensure a consistent supply and collaborate with procurement and global supply chain teams on inventory optimization.
• Contribute to the annual budget and operate within the approved financial framework.
• Partner with Regional General Managers, sourcing managers, sourcing specialists, and various teams across Category Management, Product Development, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, HR, and Legal.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, product development, design/engineering, material and commodity management, or supply chain is preferred.
• Experience with HVAC equipment and accessories is a significant advantage.
• CPSM Certification is desirable.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial proficiency combined with a technical perspective.
• Strong public speaking skills with the capability to develop and deliver presentations to large audiences.
• Ability to establish and nurture relationships with external suppliers, internal colleagues, and functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of category-related products, manufacturing methods, and applications.
• Willingness to travel globally, including North America, Central and South America, China, Southeast Asia, and India, approximately 10–15% of the time.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of the international manufacturing landscape, including country strengths and weaknesses in relevant product categories.
• Awareness of sustainability practices and regulations related to HVAC products.
• Familiarity with industry standards, approvals, and certification processes.
