This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Conduct market and company research to establish a pipeline of potential acquisitions for Everis.
• Cultivate relationships with brokers, advisors, marketplaces, and other sources of deals.
• Maintain regular communication and ensure consistent follow-ups.
• Evaluate brokered and marketplace opportunities against Everis’s established criteria.
• Create targeted lists of businesses and their owners.
• Identify and verify contacts of decision-makers.
• Perform outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Engage in initial discussions to understand the goals of business owners and follow up over potentially extended timelines.
• Gain insights into each business’s operations, revenue models, customer bases, and competitive advantages.
• Collect high-level data on revenue, profits, growth, recurring income, customer concentration, owner engagement, asking price, sale motivations, and timing.
• Evaluate fit and prepare brief opportunity summaries and notes.
• Ensure smooth transitions to the deal team.
• Maintain accuracy in the acquisition CRM, including contact information, sources, stages, notes, next actions, financial details, risks, and follow-up dates.
• Track outreach efforts, responses, meetings, qualified opportunities, handoffs, and funnel progression.
• Provide succinct weekly reports.
• Leverage evidence and AI tools to enhance research, outreach, recordkeeping, and sourcing techniques.
• Candidates must reside in the United States or Canada.
• Availability during North American business hours is essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey credibility with experienced brokers and owners without using financial jargon.
• Comfort with making cold calls, sending outbound messages, handling rejections, and following up effectively.
• Highly organized and dependable, with precise note-taking and strong follow-through capabilities.
• Sound research judgment and basic financial and commercial knowledge, or the ability to learn swiftly.
• High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, CRM systems, research databases, and AI tools.
• Motivated, proactive, resilient, and capable of working independently without constant oversight.
• Zero to three years of professional experience.
• Relevant experience in sourcing, sales, research, brokerage, consulting, or entrepreneurship is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Annual performance bonus of up to US$15,000.
