Global Post Development Manager

📋 Description

• Establish the vision and strategic direction for global post development.

• Lead the international strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.

• Set technical benchmarks for quality, consistency, and scalability.

• Oversee teams focusing on multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, and intricate machine kinematics.

• Serve as the executive contact for significant technical challenges.

• Investigate AI-driven development and automation technologies.

• Guide, mentor, and cultivate globally dispersed technical teams.

• Promote accountability, teamwork, innovation, and customer-centricity.

• Attract, nurture, and retain technical talent.

• Evaluate organizational capabilities, structure, and workforce requirements.

• Integrate teams across various regions, cultures, and time zones.

• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leadership.

• Convert market opportunities and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational performance through KPIs and ongoing improvements.

• Ensure that Post Development aligns with business growth and technological advancements.

• Report directly to the President of GibbsCAM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams in a global context.

• Extensive knowledge in CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of contemporary manufacturing processes and machine functionality.

• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, organizational growth, and technical quality.

• Ability to effectively influence and collaborate across various functions and geographical locations.

• Familiarity with modern technologies, including AI-enabled tools, digital workflows, and software-driven manufacturing systems.

• GibbsCAM experience is advantageous.

• Prior experience as a CAM Application Engineer is preferred.

• Experience with OEMs, manufacturing clients, or reseller networks is desirable.

• Exposure to advanced manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives is a plus.
