This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Act as the main point of contact for Payroll clients to establish and ensure a smooth and precise transition of their payroll needs to Remote’s Payroll products and services.
• Assess clients’ payroll requirements and offer suitable suggestions.
• Lead and oversee the onboarding process for new clients from the beginning of the partnership.
• Collect all necessary customer and employee payroll information for new client payroll setups according to legal entities.
• Customize Remote’s Global Payroll system on an individual client basis.
• Organize parallel payroll runs and reconcile wage-related taxes.
• Ensure payroll and tax configurations meet statutory regulations.
• Manage and communicate the payroll Go-Live process.
• Accurately transfer payroll data to the Remote Payroll Operations team.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and vendors.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships with clients and contribute to client retention efforts.
• Offer support and training to new clients and employees regarding payroll procedures and country-specific payroll requirements.
• Provide prompt, precise, and customer-centric follow-up on inquiries and issues.
• Maintain the confidentiality of client and employee data.
• Assist in creating and updating process documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the platform, conducting UAT testing through deployment.
• Report to the Manager, Global Payroll Implementations; no direct reports.
• Several years of experience in Global Payroll Implementation with knowledge of statutory tax regulations and payroll processing.
• Several years of technical implementation experience with local payroll software.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Global Payroll and HR processes.
• Experience in payroll operations and statutory obligations.
• Background in accounting reconciliations.
• Exceptional data management skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with various stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Technical aptitude with proficiency in computer literacy, data analysis, and critical thinking.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work setting with a desire to make a significant impact.
• Team player who can also work independently, taking ownership and responsibility for tasks and requests.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to foster client relationships.

• Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel.
• Comfortable working in a MacBook Pro environment.
