Global Meetings Sourcing Lead

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete sourcing process for international meetings and events, which includes identifying, assessing, and selecting venues and suppliers.

• Negotiate agreements with hotels to secure advantageous terms and achieve cost efficiencies.

• Foster and maintain robust relationships with essential suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Leverage extensive market insights to pinpoint industry trends, best practices, and innovative approaches for meetings and events.

• Manage various sourcing projects concurrently, ensuring timely execution while adhering to budgetary and quality standards.

• Establish and uphold organized documentation of all sourcing activities, contracts, and vendor details.

• Utilize technical expertise in event technologies and platforms to refine sourcing strategies and enhance execution.

• Enhance time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in global meeting planning.

• Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations within the meetings and events sector.

• Strong understanding of global event venues, suppliers, and industry trends.

• Exceptional multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.

• Proven proficiency in sourcing and procurement processes.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Solid technical knowledge pertinent to event management and sourcing platforms.

• Highly efficient time management and prioritization capabilities.

• Experience with CVENT and Coupa is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as required.
