This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.
• Lead the development of a network strategy for partners, allies, and local groups, specifically tailored to context and campaign priorities.
• Establish systems for tracking, evaluating, and reporting on network health, volunteer engagement, and leadership development.
• Integrate global and regional insights into global mobilization planning.
• Build and sustain strategic relationships within the climate movement ecosystem and institutions.
• Provide line management for two Regional Network Coordinators.
• Foster work and relationships with both existing and new 350 affiliates.
• Promote cross-regional collaboration, sharing lessons, tactics, and political insights.
• Align regional network activities with 350.org’s global strategy, campaign priorities, and organizational standards.
• Develop mechanisms to share learnings, best practices, and innovations.
• Ensure effective communication among local groups, Network Coordinators, national organizers, and the global team.
• Oversee cross-country network mobilization projects.
• Integrate JEDI principles into network organizing, training, and campaigning.
• Act as the budget holder for the Partnerships and Networks Team.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts and engage with donors.
• Represent 350.org in both internal and external forums.
• Support 350.org’s mission as organizational needs arise.
• Over 5 years of senior-level experience in organizing or movement-building, preferably in the climate sector.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in people management.
• Significant lived and work experience in the majority world.
• Proven experience in building, enhancing, and scaling volunteer-led or grassroots networks in the majority world / Global South.
• Strong knowledge and experience within the global climate movement.
• Ability to navigate sensitive relationships and topics where opinions may differ.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to manage conflict and drive internal changes through persuasion, learning, dialogue, and accountability practices.
• Extensive experience in managing and coaching staff remotely from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement organizing and campaigning strategies that yield measurable impact.
• Strong networking and coalition-building abilities.
• Proficiency in cultivating and establishing partnerships with donors, external partners, media, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience in applying JEDI principles in campaigning and organizing contexts.
• Basic understanding of digital organizing and the use of data to inform strategy.
• Exceptional project management, facilitation, communication, and intercultural skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently within a remote, international team.
• Comfort in a fast-paced and resource-constrained environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Legal authorization to work for any employer in the country of residence.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Fully remote position with a 36-hour workweek.
