Global Investigator – Triage, APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming complaint data and verify outputs from the AI investigation platform.

• Direct cases into investigative workflows that lead to the freezing of scam proceeds and the seizure of assets.

• Assess case outcomes including freezes, takedowns, recovery handoffs, legal process drafting, victim notifications, or case closure.

• Validate and oversee hundreds of complaint dispositions weekly.

• Identify false positives, consolidated syndicates, and misclassified scam patterns.

• Enhance complaint selectors utilizing over forty integrations from commercial data sources.

• Ensure smooth shift transitions for uninterrupted global operations.

• Respond promptly to surges in complaints and live takedown situations.

• Acquire knowledge of evolving patterns in crypto-enabled crime.

• Collaborate with global colleagues on time-sensitive transitions.

• Engage in formal on-call support for hacks, law enforcement assistance, and other pressing issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in investigative or analytical roles within the private or public sectors.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience is welcomed.

• Proficient in AI technologies with regular use of AI tools.

• Ability to discern when AI outputs are erroneous.

• Eagerness to develop skills in blockchain analysis.

• Comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Availability to work standard business hours in the local time zone.

• Capability to provide coverage during EMEA hours.

• Willingness to participate in a weekly on-call rotation, including occasional weekend duties.

• Background in cryptocurrency within a professional context.

• Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools.

• Experience with crypto-related scams or illicit activities.

• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
