This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cambodia, +3 more countries.
β’ Advocate for best practices in Information Management and GIS within HALO initiatives.
β’ Design, develop, implement, and oversee information management systems.
β’ Assist in defining information needs and developing data flows, data quality assurance and quality control (QA&QC), as well as information management standard operating procedures and guidelines.
β’ Design, develop, and manage databases and ETL/ELT tools.
β’ Aid in the design, development, and testing of data collection forms using platforms such as ArcGIS Survey123, ODK, Kobo, or others.
β’ Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of the Global Operations Information Management System (GO-IMS) and other information management tools.
β’ Provide support for HALO initiatives in information management activities as instructed by the line manager and program management.
β’ Create web and desktop maps and dashboards utilizing Esri ArcGIS technology.
β’ Generate database queries and reporting tools.
β’ Collaborate closely with program and project staff to ensure data meets requirements.
β’ Offer information management support and training to both technical and non-technical personnel.
β’ Develop training materials and user manuals.
β’ Travel to various programs as necessary.
β’ Adhere to HALO's core values, policies, code of conduct, and safeguarding standards.
β’ Proficient knowledge and recent experience with relational databases and GIS.
β’ Experience using SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
β’ Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
β’ Strong communication, leadership, and management abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel to various countries with limited internet connectivity and modest living conditions.
β’ Capability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religions.
β’ Resilient and adaptable in a complex, fast-paced, and changing environment.
β’ Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Proven experience in delivering priority tasks within tight deadlines.
β’ Good command of the English language.
β’ Regular travel to HALO programs is expected.
β’ Formal education in computer science or a related field is desirable.
β’ Strong presentation skills are desirable.
β’ CV should not exceed 2 pages and cover letter should be no more than 1 page, both in English.
