Global HR Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage the relationship between HR and leaders of specific functional areas, regardless of location.

• Act as an integral part of both the internal client’s management team and the OneHR global human resources team.

• Oversee and drive the people-management agenda, change-management initiatives, and internal communications.

• Provide guidance on critical talent decisions and share accountability for achieving functional objectives through personnel.

• Collaborate with HR specialists in areas such as talent acquisition, development, data and operations, benefits, compliance, and policy.

• Report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

• Serve as a knowledgeable and trusted single point of contact for employees regarding HR matters.

• Facilitate discussions among management teams and disseminate best practices across different functions.

• Lead activities related to people management and support the management team.

• Identify and develop plans for key and high-potential employees.

• Recognize employees ready for promotion and rotate top talent among functions.

• Establish strong business relationships with internal clients while identifying and addressing gaps and risks.

• Drive enterprise-wide talent management processes and localized talent initiatives.

• Assist in the execution of HR processes and programs.

• Manage intricate HR projects as a subject-matter expert while supporting the HRBP team.

• Balance the needs of the organization and employees while ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.

• Engage employees to foster positive outcomes and creatively resolve issues.

• Coach and influence clients regarding people programs, HR policies, local regulations, and best practices.

• Promote the adoption of people programs and devise organization-specific strategies that align with corporate policies.

• Assess the organizational culture, identify challenges, and address them proactively.

• Utilize business acumen to provide comprehensive experiences in people programs.

• Offer constructive feedback to subject-matter experts for future program design.

• Clearly articulate complex information, including medical benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience partnering with clients in a global HR context, including knowledge of payroll, benefits, DEI, performance management, and talent management and development.

• Required HR experience in Mexico; preferred HR experience in the US.

• Bilingual; fluent in both Spanish and English.

• Strong understanding of HR business processes and relevant laws.

• Capability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with differing deadlines.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to establish credibility, trust, and partnerships at all levels.

• Creative problem-solving and thinking skills, with a talent for organizational diagnosis and solution development.

• Competence in delivering results within a dynamic, ambiguous environment where change is constant.

• Skilled in exercising independent judgment while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

• Systems-thinking approach that balances the needs of enterprise and local teams.

• Excellent communication, consultative, influencing, and facilitation abilities.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Proven ability to work efficiently in a mixed-mode environment (onsite, remote, or hybrid), including consistent use of video conferencing, collaboration tools, proactive communication practices, and a professional on-camera presence.
