This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of the hospital and alternate-site class of trade within a designated territory.
• Introduce new products and boost portfolio growth through compliant, customer-focused execution.
• Create and implement territory and account call routing schedules and business plans.
• Emphasize face-to-face customer interactions, complemented by virtual engagement when suitable.
• Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with healthcare customers.
• Conduct calls with clear objectives, defined next steps, and documentation aligned with KPIs.
• Deliver approved educational content and messaging regarding both branded and unbranded product value propositions.
• Encourage customers to purchase Pfizer products while utilizing account priorities and contract knowledge to stimulate growth.
• Engage customers in accordance with Pfizer compliance guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Portfolio, Health System Directors, Trade, Customer Service, Contracting, Medical, and Inside Sales teams.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Utilize approved Pfizer resources, including product demonstrations, in-services, and discussions on contracts.
• Provide details on product availability, contract status, pricing, and wholesaler stocking information.
• Maximize daily activities through calendaring tools, leadership priorities, portfolio goals, territory insights, and customer schedules.
• Leverage digital tools and platforms for customer engagement and pre-call planning.
• Offer insights to help develop approved product messaging and resources.
• Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing; or related therapeutic healthcare provider experience.
• Possession of a valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the last 7 years will disqualify you from employment.
• Preferred 3–5 years of sales experience in hospital or alternate-site environments, including generic injectables or related markets.
• Strong understanding of hospital sales dynamics, GPO contracting, and procurement processes.
• Proven skills in account and territory management with a successful track record of achieving results through strategic planning and execution.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to assess customer needs, utilize data, and build effective, compliant relationships.
• Capability to function in a matrixed, rapidly evolving environment using internal partners, digital tools, and hybrid selling platforms.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of all business locations within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel to all accounts and office locations within the territory.
• Ability to stay overnight as necessary depending on the size of the territory and business needs.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
