This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and guide the team responsible for the Imagyst medical platform leads.
• Contribute medical insights for the ongoing maintenance and development of Imagyst testing platforms.
• Facilitate collaboration in medical affairs across virtual lab products and services aimed at medical education and marketing.
• Assist with research and study design for both on-market and in-development projects.
• Ensure the quality and monitor the clinical performance of Imagyst diagnostic indications.
• Develop veterinary and sales support materials for new product launches.
• Offer strategic insights to product management, global commercial development, research and development, and marketing teams.
• Formulate strategies that enhance collaboration between the diagnostic and Zoetis brand portfolios.
• Provide diagnostic medical expertise to marketing, Learning and Development, and other Zoetis departments.
• Co-lead marketing initiatives, product-focused workgroups, product launches, and marketing strategies.
• Direct customer engagement activities, advisory boards, KOL development, and educational/training meetings for customers.
• Identify, nurture, and engage key opinion leaders for research studies, advisory boards, and speaking engagements.
• Supervise medical validation studies for new algorithms and product development.
• Determine instrument requirements and establish laboratory quality benchmarks for evaluation and validation studies.
• Identify technical, medical, and business gaps and propose enhancements and innovative ideas for products.
• Create data generation and study plans, including Phase III, Phase IV, and outcomes research.
• Collaborate with R&D and KOLs on study proposals and their execution.
• Advise Learning and Development and medical education teams regarding training programs and technical material.
• Engage in cross-functional product teams and lead multidisciplinary groups.
• Manage initiatives with minimal supervision, oversee projects and timelines, resolve conflicts, and influence management at all levels.
• Exemplify Zoetis leadership behaviors and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or its equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience is essential.
• At least 5 years of experience in team leadership and management is necessary.
• Being a Diplomate of the College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology or possessing extensive diagnostic method validation or research experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in AI, diagnostics, and/or research is highly recommended.
• A strong foundational understanding of trends in the veterinary industry is required.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with various stakeholders are necessary.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams is crucial.
• Strong skills in building relationships are important.
• Capability to navigate regulatory and legal processes is required.
• Excellent judgment in managing conflicts and influencing others is essential.
• Strategic thinking and acting capabilities are necessary.
• Ability to interact with and influence senior management, peers, and representatives from other functional areas is required.
