This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Lead and oversee the Imagyst medical platform leads team.
• Provide medical expertise for the lifecycle maintenance and development of Imagyst testing platforms.
• Ensure collaboration in medical affairs across virtual lab products and services for educational and marketing initiatives.
• Support research and study design for both on-market and in-development projects.
• Maintain quality and monitor the clinical performance of Imagyst diagnostic indications.
• Create veterinary and sales support materials for the launch of new products.
• Offer strategic insights to product management, global commercial development, research and development, and marketing teams.
• Co-lead marketing initiatives, product-focused workgroups, product launch strategies, and the introduction of innovative products.
• Direct key customer engagements, advisory boards, KOL development, and customer education/training sessions.
• Identify, cultivate, and engage key opinion leaders while managing KOL relationships.
• Oversee medical validation studies for new algorithms, product development, and launches.
• Establish instrument requirements and quality benchmarks for evaluation and validation studies in laboratories.
• Develop plans for data generation and studies, including Phase IV, Phase III, and Outcomes Research studies.
• Collaborate with R&D and KOLs on study proposals and their execution.
• Advise Learning and Development and medical education teams on training programs and technical content.
• Participate in cross-functional product teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary groups and provide advice and influence to Zoetis management on technical matters.
• Exhibit leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement that aligns with Zoetis values.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of prior industry experience is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in team leadership and management is essential.
• Being a Diplomate of the College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology or possessing extensive experience in diagnostic method validation or research is highly recommended.
• Experience in AI, diagnostics, and/or research is strongly advised.
• A strong foundational understanding of trends within the veterinary industry is required.
• An MBA or prior business experience is highly encouraged.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with various stakeholders are necessary.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams is important.
• Strong relationship-building skills are a must.
• Ability to navigate and work within a regulatory and legal environment is required.
• Excellent judgment in conflict management and influence is necessary.
• Ability to think strategically and act accordingly is crucial.
• Ability to interact with and influence senior management, peers, and representatives from other functional areas is essential.
