This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Create content for individual sessions in bootcamp training.
• Develop practice-oriented sessions, including simulations that replicate daily work scenarios, role plays, and case studies.
• Present technical content in a manner that aligns it with behavioral skills and mindsets.
• Craft active learning experiences for each session.
• Design interactive, practice-based learning materials, including role plays, simulations, and field experiences.
• Create supporting documents, such as scripted facilitator guides, student handouts, and instructor debrief guides.
• Design for both in-person and online settings across various sectors, including technology and healthcare, in accordance with Generation’s methodology.
• Collaborate closely with employer and education partners to gather feedback and refine lessons.
• Upload content to the LMS and update existing LMS materials as needed.
• Monitor progress through project plans.
• Work in conjunction with Generation Global Curriculum Leads, Design Managers, country program teams, and technical specialists.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in curriculum design is required.
• Experience in planning and scripting individual objective-driven lessons is essential.
• Proven experience in developing active, practice-based learning experiences, including simulations and role plays.
• Comfortable using technology for collaboration, such as Google Docs and Zoom video conferencing.
• Ability to communicate professionally in English and collaborate with colleagues who speak only English.
• Consistent and reliable internet access is required.
• Fluency in Spanish, French, Thai, Portuguese, or Italian is highly valued.
• Experience in teaching and/or designing instructional content for students from at-risk communities is preferred.
• Experience in teaching and/or designing instructional materials for young adults aged 18–29 and older adults re-entering the workforce or seeking a new career path is preferred.
• Experience in designing online or blended programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with designing content for a Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred.
• A proactive collaborator who is willing to propose solutions, discuss their merits, and provide final recommendations.
• Self-reflective and receptive to frequent feedback.
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing instructor-ready documents.
• An English CV/Resume is required for application.
• Contractors receive training and are subsequently assigned to projects as needed.
• Flexible project-based weekly hours: 15–20 hours/week for 1–2 months or 30–40 hours/week for 1–2 months.
• Remote work is available with no relocation necessary.
