
Global Accounts Manager, South Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Oversee designated global clients and brands in the Southern Europe region.
β’ Create and execute sustainable, profitable sales and growth strategies for designated clients, brands, and markets.
β’ Strategically enhance existing Global Accounts while pinpointing target customers and business prospects.
β’ Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
β’ Formulate strategic account concepts to maintain existing business and reveal new growth possibilities.
β’ Act as the primary contact for Global Accounts, offering professional and dependable customer support.
β’ Administer global contracts, BOM specifications, and brand/manufacturer agreements; engage in price negotiations as necessary.
β’ Utilize Coats' technical expertise and product offerings to craft customer solutions and identify upselling chances.
β’ Assist in customer product development processes and align customer-specific needs with relevant internal departments.
β’ Collaborate with local and international Commercial Teams to execute brand requirements and specifications at the production level.
β’ Conduct regular sales reviews to uncover additional revenue and growth opportunities.
β’ Keep track of market, competitor, and industry trends to formulate appropriate sales tactics.
β’ Provide regular updates on business development, opportunities, risks, and pertinent market indicators.
β’ Represent Coats at customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs.
β’ Work closely with the Global Accounts Team and other international stakeholders.
β’ Completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
β’ Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in sales, key account management, or a similar commercial role, or proven success in business development.
β’ Strong acquisition abilities and a proactive, hunter mentality.
β’ Excellent networking skills with the capacity to forge enduring relationships across various organizational levels.
β’ Insight into market trends, technical advancements, and new business opportunities.
β’ Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Business-fluent in German and proficient in English.
β’ Experience in textiles, apparel, sourcing, production, or product development is preferred.
β’ Independent, organized, and detail-oriented work style with a strong initiative.
β’ Comfortable working autonomously as well as within international, cross-functional teams.
β’ Adaptability to change and swift response to new requirements.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Willingness to travel frequently within Germany and internationally.
β’ An MBA or an additional qualification in the textile industry is advantageous.
β’ Strong technical knowledge in apparel is beneficial.
β’ Understanding international brand dynamics and the textile industry is a plus.
β’ Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Italian or French, is advantageous.
