German to English Interpreter, Medical/Legal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and prompt interpretation services between patients and healthcare professionals.

• Execute both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation effectively.

• Ensure the correct application of medical terminology during interpretation.

• Promote clear and culturally sensitive communication in healthcare environments.

• Provide interpretation in both medical and legal contexts.

• Offer services via OPI/VRI or through scheduled appointments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 months of professional interpretation experience is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in the Medical or Legal fields.

• Must be available for OPI/VRI or prearranged appointments.

• Exceptional listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.

• Professional setup that complies with HIPAA regulations.

• A wired USB headset featuring noise cancellation.

• Internet connection with at least 10Mbps upload speed and 20Mbps download speed.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Skills in both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.

• Accurate use of medical terminology.

• Ability to communicate culturally appropriately in medical contexts.
