Associate Attorney – Legal Drafting and Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Prepare and submit defenses in civil courts and Small Claims Courts for cases in the State and/or Federal Courts, following the client’s guidelines, templates, and communications.

• Appear in proceedings when the firm is not yet registered, including the submission of the client’s corporate documents.

• Update both the firm’s and client’s systems with the completed pleadings and filing receipts.

• Prepare and submit appeals and/or appeals in Small Claims Court cases, including the payment and submission of the required appeal fee.

• Draft and file responses to appeals and/or objections regarding interlocutory appeals.

• Manage cases in the State and/or Federal Courts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.

• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Preferred experience in high-volume litigation.

• Familiarity with legal filing and petitioning procedures.
