Gerente de Tecnología de Canales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the technological evolution of App Personas, Internet Banking, Digital Onboarding/Sales, and web channels.

• Translate the Product and Innovation roadmap into technical plans, backlogs, priorities, and delivery timelines.

• Manage the development and enhancement of channels under a blended model of internal teams and technology providers.

• Oversee the integrations of Digital Onboarding with identity services, biometrics, and Core Banking systems.

• Manage the software lifecycle: versioning, CI/CD, quality and security controls, releases, and deployments.

• Ensure the availability and stability of digital channels by coordinating the response to critical L2/L3 incidents.

• Manage specialized vendors, ensuring SLAs, quality, compliance, and service continuity.

• Collaborate with Security to implement authentication controls, fraud prevention measures, vulnerability assessments, and security testing.

• Participate in the evolution and modernization of legacy platforms toward scalable digital solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in web and/or mobile application development or management.

• At least 3 years of experience leading technical teams and technology providers.

• Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services, preferably in digital channels.

• Experience working with Apps, Internet Banking, Digital Onboarding, APIs, and integrations with banking systems.

• Solid knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, releases, quality, security, and operation of applications in production.

• Experience managing SLAs, availability, and critical incidents.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Desirable experience with Veritran or other low-code banking platforms, legacy system migration, and biometric onboarding.
