Geospatial Data Software Engineer – Regular/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain applications utilizing ArcGIS Experience Builder, including tailored functionalities and integrations.

• Collaborate with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise solutions and connect Experience Builder applications with other components of the ESRI ecosystem.

• Process and handle geospatial data from various sources, including Earth Observation data.

• Design and oversee ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.

• Integrate spatial data from multiple systems.

• Develop automated solutions for data workflows.

• Construct cloud-based geospatial applications for both web and mobile platforms.

• Provide support to clients as a geospatial consultant across ESRI, commercial, and Open-Source GIS technologies.

• Assist clients in implementing and maintaining advanced spatial data processing systems using either commercial or Open-Source solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and configuring applications with ArcGIS Experience Builder, including custom widgets and integrations.

• Must have hands-on experience with Experience Builder.

• Strong understanding of spatial data models and best practices in spatial data management.

• Intermediate proficiency in Python.

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and web development concepts relevant to Experience Builder.

• Experience in automating spatial data processing using ESRI, FME, or Open-Source tools.

• Experience integrating Azure or AWS with GIS environments.

• Experience working with Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of data-sharing methodologies and cloud-based environments.

• Familiarity with Earth Observation spatial-temporal datasets.

• Knowledge of ESRI products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Hub, Map Viewer, Survey123, Workflow Manager, ArcGIS Notebooks, ArcGIS API for Python, and ArcPy.

• Experience in managing and administering ArcGIS Online/Portal.

• Willingness to engage across the broader ESRI ecosystem, including ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.

• Openness to taking on broader geospatial consulting and software/data engineering responsibilities.

• Experience in training, fine-tuning, and utilizing AI models for object inference from satellite, aerial, and/or drone imagery.

• Passion for spatial data coupled with strong analytical thinking.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Experience in incorporating AI tools into daily workflows is a plus.
