Genetics Utilization Reviewer – MN Licensed, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Conduct independent Utilization Reviews

• Serve as a Medical Genetics physician by performing peer and utilization reviews

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions during available daytime hours

• Review sensitive health information while adhering to HIPAA and company policies

• Commit to approximately 1–2 hours of work weekly, with no minimum obligation

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid State Medical License in Minnesota is required

• Must be a Board-Certified physician in Medical Genetics

• Possess a Medical Degree (MD or DO)

• Hold a current medical license (note: the posting mentions Indiana, which may conflict with the Minnesota requirement)

• Maintain current Board Certification in Medical Genetics

• Have at least 5 years of clinical experience, including residency

• Availability during daytime hours for peer-to-peer discussions

• Compliance with HIPAA regulations and adherence to company confidentiality, privacy, and security policies is essential

• Patient records must be maintained within the US in accordance with HIPAA regulations
