This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Provide both onsite and remote consulting services to hospitals and surgical teams utilizing da Vinci Surgery.
• Recognize and implement best practices for standardizing robotic programs, enhancing operational efficiency, team training, cost management, and optimizing block time utilization.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership as well as Sales, Marketing, Customer Training, Customer Service, and Technical Support teams.
• Develop expertise in Intuitive technologies, instruments, accessories, troubleshooting, and proper handling techniques.
• Independently oversee the assigned territory, balancing customer interactions with administrative duties.
• Create and execute Genesis OR consulting and educational programs for designated customer accounts.
• Lead intricate, multi-layered customer engagements and formulate customized actionable strategies.
• Assess challenges, utilization obstacles, and strategic prospects.
• Align hospital stakeholders around priorities and implementation strategies.
• Monitor progress and sustain communication regarding shared timelines.
• Offer consulting on workflow standardization, operating room efficiency, staff training, cost containment, block scheduling, and integration of new systems.
• Examine customer usage patterns and performance data to customize engagements and illustrate measurable value.
• Work alongside Sales and Marketing to develop customer strategy and implementation.
• Enhance the quality and impact of Genesis content and services.
• Assist in Genesis and Intuitive conferences, congresses, and training sessions.
• Facilitate the rollout and adoption of new Intuitive products and solutions, which includes training and planning for integration.
• Collect and convey customer feedback and concerns through internal channels.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.); equivalent clinical, medical, or healthcare-related experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in healthcare or hospital management.
• Ideally possess experience in a B2B sales role or a leadership position within a hospital setting.
• Proven experience collaborating with or within Operating Room departments.
• A history of achieving results through teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of presenting confidently to varied audiences and group sizes.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-energy, and fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable work schedule, including the potential for occasional extended hours.
• Strong business acumen and the capacity to navigate within healthcare stakeholder settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly and consistently across multiple organizational levels.
• Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or similar tools.
• Experience in project management.
• Proven track record of leading complex, customer-facing initiatives related to operating room efficiency, productivity, or cost reduction.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Catalan is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• A minimum of 24 months in the role is expected before being eligible for internal mobility.
