This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Oversee the maintenance of generators, identify and fix issues, install and replace components or entire systems, and carry out maintenance or upgrades on equipment not in use.
• Conduct performance evaluations and routine maintenance to guarantee generator readiness.
• Interpret and adhere to blueprints and other design specifications for installation and repairs.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, along with other essential components.
• Test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Respond swiftly to power and generator alarms.
• Execute work safely while navigating hazards associated with power supply equipment, switchgear, and related machinery.
• Employ safety equipment and adhere to safety practices.
• Attend and engage in designated safety and training meetings.
• Service and repair commercial generators located on cell phone towers within the assigned region.
• Adjust responsibilities as business and client requirements change.
• At least one year of substantial work experience related to generator and electrical maintenance software, hardware, and processes.
• A minimum of two years of experience in generator maintenance is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of generator installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Moderate proficiency in computer skills.
• Basic understanding of relevant FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
• Capability to adhere to OSHA standards.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds, as well as stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and remain standing for extended durations.
• Skill to visually and audibly inspect and troubleshoot equipment and alarms.
• Willingness and ability to travel long distances and work during day, evening, or night hours.
• Readiness to work overtime, respond to emergency callouts, and work on weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Ability to take on 24-hour on-call duty when assigned and be away from home for extended periods.
• Must pass a DOT physical examination.
