This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee the maintenance of generators, troubleshoot and repair issues, and install or replace components or entire systems, as well as perform upgrades or maintenance.
• Execute performance evaluations and routine maintenance to guarantee generator functionality.
• Interpret and adhere to blueprints or design specifications for both installation and repair tasks.
• Set up fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, along with other essential components.
• Assess installed components and systems to ensure they operate correctly.
• Quickly respond to power and generator alarms.
• Promptly attend to assigned phone calls and emails.
• Conduct work safely in the presence of hazards such as falls, electrical shocks, falling objects, and traffic.
• Utilize safety equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in designated safety and training meetings.
• Service and repair commercial generators located on cell phone towers within the assigned region.
• Travel as necessary.
• At least one year of extensive hands-on experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes.
• Preferred two or more years of experience in generator maintenance.
• Comprehensive understanding of generator installations, maintenance, and repair.
• Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Moderate proficiency in computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of relevant FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
• Capability to comply with OSHA Standards.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, and perform tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for extended durations.
• Competence in inspecting and/or troubleshooting equipment/alarms effectively through visual and auditory means.
• Willingness and capability to drive long distances and work during day, evening, or night hours.
• Availability for overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, holidays, and assigned 24-hour on-call duties.
• Openness to being away from home for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
